Attention KODI users: please read before continuing
Kodi addons / modules offer unlimited streaming content, but can also get you in legal trouble if you get caught watching movies / TV shows / sports for free. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN when streaming online. A good Kodi VPN can hide your identity, bypass government surveillance, block content, and ISP throttling (which also contributes to buffer-free streaming).
I use ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device, including the Amazon FireStick. Get 3 months free and save 49% on annual plans. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

To install the Myriad addon on Kodi
Like most platforms, Kodi has a security system that prevents you from downloading third-party plugins. To install the Kodi Myriad addon, you need to bypass this security system. Here’s how to get around this problem:
Open the Kodi settings on the home screen. You will find the Settings icon in the top left corner, just below the Kodi logo.
Now choose System Settings
Then go to the left side of the screen and select Extras from the sidebar.
The options for add-ons, including unknown sources, are displayed on the right. Make sure this option is enabled. Then pull the switch next to it to the right and turn it on.
Kodi displays the following warning message. Don’t worry about this warning. In fact, some third-party plugins and add-ons can do damage, but not the safe and tested ones. I have used Myriad myself and it is perfectly safe.
Then press yes.
So you’ve configured Kodi’s security settings to accept third-party addons. We will now follow the step by step guide to install the Kodi Myriad addon:
Step one: On the Kodi home screen, tap Settings again.
Step two: Then click on File Management
Step three: On the next screen, you should find the add-source on both sides. Navigate to and click on an item (see figure below)
Step four: A new window should now appear, as shown in the figure below. Click <No> in this window.
Step 5: Another window appears. In this window, enter the following URL: http://androidaba.com/addons/.
Enter the URL carefully, as it points to the source from which we will eventually install the Kodi Myriad addon.
Step six: In this step, you need to set a name for the original shortcut you added earlier. As long as I choose a name androidaba, you can enter any name you want to use to describe this resource
Your Kodi screen should look like this
In this part of the guide, we have added the source code of the Myriad addon to Kodi. The following steps will help you install the Kodil repository. The Kodil repository is ultimately used to install the Kodi Myriad addon.
Seventh step: Press back/esc to return to the Kodi home screen.
Click on the Extras button on the left.
Step 8: Now click on the open field icon in the top left corner of the next screen. This icon is often referred to as the package installer.
Step 9: Select Install from zip file
Step 10: Click androidaba (if this is the name you added earlier). If you have specified a name, select it).
Step 11: In the next screen, click on Repository
Step 12: Scroll down and click on the file repository.kodil-1.3.zip
When I wrote this guide, version 1.3 was the version number of the zip file in the Kodil repository. If the number has changed, don’t worry. Click on the zip file anyway
Step 13: All you have to do is wait for the ..Kodil Repository add-on installation message/notification. It appears in the top right corner of the Kodi screen.
You have successfully installed the Kodil repository. We are now going to install the Kodi Myriad addon.
Step 14: Click on Install from Memory
Step 15: Open the ..Kodil repository
Step 16: Additions to the video
Step 17: Scroll to section M and press Myriad.
Step 18: Click on Install in the next window
Step 19: After a few minutes you will see a message about the installed Myriad add-on, still in the top right corner.
The Kodi Myriad addon is installed. Now let’s explore this addon and see how to watch movies and series.
Step 20: You want to return to the Kodi home screen. Click on Add-ons in the left sidebar.
Now click on Video Addons, where you will find the Myriad Kodi Addon icon. Click on the addon icon to continue
Step 21: Then you will see the start screen of the Myriad addon. The default view is IconWall, but you can change it to WideList. I’ll show you how to do this in the next step.
Step 22: Navigate to the far left side of the screen and the sliding menu bar will appear on the left. Change the IconWall view type to WideList if you want to see the options as a list instead of icons (see the attached image below).
Step 23: Now click on Movies in the main screen of the Kodi Myriad addon. As you can see below, the addon includes all IMDB categories. But that pretty much covers everything you want to see, including the latest movies. You can also sort movies by genre. Just click on the IMDB Genre option
Step 24: You can now see the Gender category. You can find movies in different genres including action, adventure, animation, biography, etc.
Step 25: If you click on TV Shows on the home screen of the Myriad Kodi addon, you will see this. You can choose one of these categories and explore the TV shows.
That’s about it for the Myriad addon for Kodi.
Before you start streaming video with Kodi addons or modules, I want to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and the government. This means that streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, live broadcasts and sports) can lead to legal problems.
Fortunately, there is a reliable way to hide all your streaming activities from your ISP and the government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN masks your original IP address and helps you bypass surveillance, ISPs and geographical restrictions on content.
Personally, I use and recommend ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN. It is compatible with all types of applications and streaming devices.
OPINION: We do not encourage copyright infringement. But what if you accidentally upload content from an illegal source? It is not always easy to distinguish between a legal and an illegal source.
So before you start streaming on Kodi, read here how to get VPN protection in 3 easy steps.
Step one: Purchase your ExpressVPN subscription HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. This means you can use it for free for the first 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the service (which is unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.
Step two: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN application on your streaming device. If you are using a FireStick, I have included the exact steps below, starting with step 4.
Step three: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your connection is secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
The steps to install Kodi VPN on Fire TV devices are described below. If you have other broadcast devices, follow steps 1 to 3 above.
Step four: Sign up for ExpressVPN HERE (if you are not already a subscriber).
Step 5: Go to the Fire TV Stick home screen. Click the Search button and then the Search option (see figure below).
Step six: Type expressvpn into the search bar and select when it appears.
Seventh step: Click on the Download button.
Step 8: Open the ExpressVPN application and log in using the username and password you created when you purchased your ExpressVPN subscription.
Step 9: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your FireStick is protected with the fastest VPN.
One of the best things about Kodi is that it is an open source platform. This allows independent developers to create high quality addons. This way we never run out of choices, even if old addons are closed down, because new ones are added all the time. I’ve discovered some great new add-ons lately, and Myriad is a new addition to my list. Besides the Kodi Myriad addon, you can also try new addons like Medusa and DeathStar. All these addons are developed with the latest technology and improved compared to the old addons. How did you find this addon?
